HAPPY CANADA DAY!! Yes, we celebrate it in this house, because, like I say in my earlier post's, we should be in Canada right now with the rest of Jameson's family, laying on the gorgeous beach of Lake Huron. But, due to gas prices, no work, and air fare, it just wasn't possible this summer. But it will still be there next summer, so hello, and Happy Canada Day to our fam to the north!! Blythe wore her shirt today and even waved hi to grandma and grandpa!
Speaking of Blythe, as you will see in the picture of her snoozing, she got her first official 'owie' this morning. She was rolling over on the floor and playing with her toys, and one of our box fans was on the other side of the room. I turned my back for literally like five seconds, and in that time, she made it across the room, pulled on the cord, and it fell over right on top of her. Luckily it was off, but nonetheless it scared her so bad and she just started to wail!! I felt so bad!! She had an imprint of the fan on her little face, most of which went away, but she was left with a little bruise, and a need for mommy to hold her for awhile. So now the fans are up and out of reach! And I just wanted to post another picture of her on here in her little saucer. It's so funny because she's cutting her teeth and Jameson had handed her a frozen teether, and she couldn't decide if she wanted to chew on that or the other toy, so in went both, we were laughing so hard and she kept at it for almost 20 min. Ahhh, the everyday little joys of parenthood....
