Er Visit One & Two, Ouch....

So, we were in a car accident on Monday, and as you can see, our car didn't fare too well. We were headed north and decided we wanted to turn around so we pulled up an intersection and waited for the arrow for the left hand turn to turn green. When it did Jameson, who was driving, proceeded to make a Uturn to head south, meanwhile, a guy in a huge pickup truck was turning right to head south, didn't even see us, and smashed right into us, pushing us a good 15 feet before coming to a stop. Blythe was in the backseat asleep in her carseat, and she woke up screaming, I tried to get out and get to her, I got out of the car, and the next thing I know, I'm on a backboard being loaded into an ambulance. Blythe and Jameson were both completley fine, thank goodness, but I took the impact of the hit. To make a long story short, I was taken to the University of Utah hospital where they did a Cat Scan and found a bruise on my brain, and my memory was starting to fade and my hip was so painful. They kept me overnight, then released me Tuesday morning. I slept all day Tuesday and all night, then I woke up this morning and started throwing up and was so confused about where I was. So we headed back to the ER where they did another cat scan and found no change, but diagnosed me with post concussion syndrome and said it can take up to six week for my symptoms to fade. So yeah, there it is! I'm just so grateful that my family wasn't hurt, someone was watching over us...
