I Heart Rock Band & My Poor Hubby...

So last night I went and hung out with some friend I haven't seen for almost two years, we went to Happy Sumo for sushi, YUM! Then we went back to their apartment and they introduced me to the fantastic world of Rock Band! Have you ever played this game? It's amazing!! For those of you who are not familiar with it, there is a guitar and drum set, and you can play it along with the band on tv through either your WII, XBox, or Playstation. I LOVE IT!! I could have played all night long if sleep wasn't a factor. This morning I woke up and told Jameson that I want it so so so bad, and he said maybe for Christmas. I told him he doesn't have to get me anything else if I can have it for Christmas. If anyone has the opportunity to play this game, I highly recommend it.
Now as for my poor hubby, I told him before we were married that I couldn't cook worth anything, and I think that he didn't realize how serious I actually was. The poor guy has had to put up with my really bad cooking for the past two years and I think he's reaching the breaking point. So, I've decided that I need to try harder and learn how to cook a decent meal that's easy and taste's good. Tonight made a recipe that I found in my Family Circle Magazine called Apple Chicken with Couscous, and it actually turned out okay. So this is me, deciding that Jameson has suffered enough, and it's time for me to kick it in gear! Enjoy the pic of my little creation this evening. And let this be a shout out to my nephew who turned five this week! Little guy you are getting so big and I'm simply smitten with you!! Kisses From Monna!

oh melissa! I bet your better than you give yourself credit for, one place I find a lot of recipes is kraftfoods.com, they have a ton of recipes and most of them require little time to prepare and are super easy, because lets face it in todays world we don't have hours to spend cooking, and I love that I can have a good, easy meal in like 45 minutes(from start to finish)

That was pretty yummy food. I need the recipe for it. Ted probably wouldn't eat it, too sweet, but I loved the couscous.
